Can i put vitamin E oil in my hair?

i have 4a-3c hair type it a mix and very wavy. But it is sooo very dry i try to condition it i use carols daughter leave in conditioner and this is my 2nd time using garnier fructis leave in conditioner still dry seems like it needs oil.. and heavier leave in conditioner
