Is my big toe sprained or broken? How long will it take to heal?

so i was walkin on the sidewalk in a street im not familiar with, so i fell on those little hole likes on the sidewalk, my left big toe fell in, i didnt hear any crack, right now its swollen, stiff and in pain whenn i walk, it is nott discolored. Thannnks
