How do you find more pokemon in the white forest on white version?

all i've been able to find is abra, ralts, rhyhorn, and wurmple. Im trying to find the male nidoran, elekid, pidgey, aron and a few more. i've tried going at differest times in the day and even different seasons but i still cant find any different ones. is there something i need to do??
