What would be the better pokemon team out of this selection?

What version? Currently, I think a Snorlax is a good choice because its high in health and special defense (what your team lacks). Also, being a normal type, it isn't effected by ghost type moves that Hypno is weak against. Of course Pidgeotto is also Normal type, Snorlax is much more powerful and defensive.

Is my finger jammed or broken?

Today, me and my friend were playing around and she jokingly tried to hit me with her flip-flop. My automatic instinct was to put my hand up, of course, but her shoe was made out of harder material and it bent my finger back pretty badly. It automatically started hurting really bad, and it swelled up and got kind of red. It was also itchy and felt hot. I couldn't move it much. That was a few hours ago, and the redness and itchiness went away, but my finger is still swollen and like, bent. It's kind of hard to explain; when I hold my hand normal, that one finger is in a bent position. It's still swollen, especially the bottom part. It also still has that warm feeling and is stiff. I can move it, but I can't hold it out straight, and when I try to bend it, it has this sort of "tight" feeling in the swollen area. It's not black or blue or anything, and it doesn't hurt as much as it did when it first happened. I personally don't think it's broken, but I've never really jammed my finger that badly, or had any finger injuries before.Do you think I just bruised it badly or is it broken?

I have has a stiff ankle after I sprained my ankle. It's been 3 weeks and it still hurt. It was a grade 2 sprain. I started stretching my ankles, like turn my foot clockwise and anticlockwise in a circular motion on the sprained ankle. And guess what, it feels much better!! but I told my dad about it and he said that it's bad to stretch ur injured lingament it makes it worse. Should I stop stretching it?

PIP joint injury to little finger?

A minor strain or sprain? Not sure what I did to my left little finger but did not hurt untill after working with a shovel and then pulling weeds the same day. The PIP joint is slightly swollen on the right side and my wedding ring on the ring figure seems to aggrevate it. I can bend the knuckle with out pain yet as soon as I hold something for a short time the joint pain increases, the joint swells more, and it becomes stiff. It would not be so bad if I was not a dishwasher since grabbing the dishes irritates it (increases pain, swelling, and stifness). I have had this problem for two weeks now, not seeming to get better, and not sure if I should bother the family doc with this now or wait a little longer.

How to make my hair grow again?

When I was little I had beautiful natural hair. It was wavy, it got curly, soft,etc. But then my mom started perming my hair. I stopped perming my hair and went natural last Christmas and my hair is short! it broke off terribly! It used to be down to my back but now it's up to my ears. People said using Carol's daughter would help my hair grow back but I used that for months and I saw no changes. Now all I do is wash my hair, let it air dry, get it pressed with a hot comb, flat iron it, then glue in my extensions. Does anyone know any special things I can do to make my hair grow back, things I shouldn't do, hair products I should use, etc.?

"The Olive Farm" Carol Drinkwater: Order of books please?

I read The Olive Farm several years ago and loved it. (Drinkwater's style of writing is the only one that actually makes my mouth water!) I am interested in reading the rest of Carol Drinkwater's work this Summer. However, I went to her site and the books aren't in order and I didn't see a publishing date next to any of the titles. (???) I know that the first three are supposed to be a trilogy, but the other two have "Olive" references in the titles as well. This is making it hard for me to figure out which books are part of the trilogy and which books came later. I'm guessing I'm missing something, but if there is anyone out there who can tell me her book titles in the order that they were published, I would appreciate it.

Should I go to the hospital or doctor?

Okay. First of all, I am 11 weeks 1 day pregnant. Four days ago, I had a horrible headache. I layed in bed all day with cold compresses and took children's tylenol. The headache eased up, but now I have pain in my upper neck/ back of my head. I also have a sore throat (shouldnt be strep bc I have not had that since my tonsils were taken out 7 years ago at age 18). My throat is itchy and makes me cough quite a bit. When I wake up I feel like I have a lot of drainage between my nose and throat (almost like a post nasal drip that is clogged up). I do not have a fever and my temperature has ranged between 98.4-99.5 for the last four days. My main concern is my general ill feeling and pain in my neck/ back of head. It feels stiff when I try to turn it side to side and backwards, but not when I touch my chin to my chest. Has anyone experienced these symptoms before and do you thnk this is a trip to the ER or an after hours clinic?

I have a weird question about the crabs in my fish tank?

so i have this big fish tank and i bough a male crab for it last week. then this last weekend i bought another male crab and also a female. well when i put the new crab in the tank it kinda looked like the 2 males were going to fight but i wasnt to worried, i figured they just needed some getting use to, so i went to bed. then this morning when i woke up the new crab was looking fine but when i came home for lunch he was upside down in the rocks so i took my net and sure enough he was stiff as a rock but i just left him in there and figured i would take him out when i got of work later. so 5 hours pass and i got home and there was no dead crab to be found! i cleaned the whole tank and couldnt find him! what could of happened to him? did the other crab eat him? (but it was only a few hours) or did he likesome howe dig himself in the rocks and fully die under there or what... i dont even know what to think any more... opinions would be great! i just want to find the little guy :)

What could be wrong with my little cousin?

Shes 6 months old and is still the size of a 2 week old. Shes alert, but stays rigid and doesnt move her arms or legs, just keeps her hands balled up at her chest. All my life I have had trouble sleeping. I let my recent bout with insomnia go too far and now I don't think I will ever be the same. My scalp has loosened and my hair is falling out in drastic amounts. I get sharp pains all over my body and am stiff like a 90 year old woman. I have been sleeping full nights for 60 days but nothing seems to be healing right or getting better. I have gone to the doctor and my blood work is normal. I got an MRI of my esophagus and the results showed that I have one. I still doubt that it is in perfect working condition though because when I burp it feels really abnormal. Go to sleep! seriously. It can mess with your health and could even kill you. I think I may die. I'm terrified. I have no sexual feeling whatsoever. I wish I could go back a year and start over. But I can't.

Husbands smelly feet/athletes foot.?

My husband has extremely smelly feet has since he was a little kid. When I wash his socks they are almost completely stiff. He says he has had athletes foot his whole life. This has been happening since I was little. I'll unbend my knee and it'll pop. Then I'll bend it and unbend it again and it'll pop again. I'll do that a few times, sometimes it even goes to 20 times, and then it'll give a loud crack and it won't pop anymore. Also, my ankles crack when i turn them around in a circle, my toes crack, my knuckles, my neck only cracks if its stiff, my back gives a high pitched crack when i straighten up but a low pitched crack when i twist it. my wrists also crack when i turn them around in a circle, and my hips crack when I stand up. im only 14. Starting an un-evolved pokemon team in emerald, any tips?

I do realize that un-evolved pokemon can be weaker, but i want to challenge myself and plus, un-evolved pkmon lv up quicker. I'll probably evolve them in their last two-three levels if i can keep myself commited to playing that long. I may have to play Pokemon XD so i can transfer and train. So far, I have Torchic, Shroomish, Tailow, Wingull, and Abra (i may switch Abra for Raltz if i can catch one since abra can't learn any moves on its own) all under lv 20. So it may not be too late to take ur suggestions and switch up my team if needed.

Also, look up methotrexate, bc your rheumatilogist will want to give you that and it has some side effects and needs monitoring. The side effects are not too bad and the blood testing isnt so bad, its to monitor your liver. There's a lot of bad press about it, but it's a really good medicine for RA

So about 6 days ago, I started feeling like I was getting sick. It started out like a typical cold- stuffy nose, cough, and a sore throat. It was like this for a few days. Then 2 days ago, I got a mild case of the chills, and I felt very tired. I could still eat and feel fine, my throat would just still hurt and I would still be congested. Then yesterday morning, i woke up after sleeping on floor at my friends house with a stiff neck. At first I thought I just slept wrong on the ground, but now after looking through multiple health websites, it sounds like I actually have swollen lymph nodes, another symptom of mono. My stomach is not abnormally large, and im pretty sure my spleen isnt swollen. Last night, i had enough energy to go to a concert that lasted from 8pm to 1am, so that surprised me, because im sure i wouldnt be able to have done that if I had mono, but I am not sure. So far i've been taking advil, motrin, and nyquil stuff to help with my symptoms, and i feel that its not doing much good. I'm going to ask my mom if she can get me tested if things progress for the worse, but I'd like a second opinion on Yahoo. I'm 15 years of age and male if that matters. Thanks in advance!

Why do I have a bump on the back of my neck?

I am 17 and I've had this for years now. But in recent years it's been way more noticeable. it's a big bump that's a whole hand under the hairline. It appears to be bone. But It hurts after a while if I don't stand or sit straight. It also makes my neck a bit stiff when looking down. It's one of those bumps that appear over night or are small, I've had it for years and it just gets more noticeable with time. Does anyone have an opinion of what this is?

Why is this girl being weird with me?

this is gonna be long!! well, I had been best friends with this girl for like 3 years and about a year ago I started to get really annoyed with her for a few reasons...she was bossy, she was ALWAYS right ( she rarely was but she wouldn't admit that she was wrong), she was so possessive and wouldn't let me have any other friends so I basically just walked away from her and found new friends. Swollen Lymph Node After Drinking Alcohol !!?

Well, I don't drink and never had but last year the same thing happened to me. It not only swelled, it was very painful. My Dr gave me antibiotics because lymph nodes are designed to catch infections before they spread. Doesn't always work though. He also told me about stones in salivary glands. They are very painful and wanted to see me again if the pain and swelling didn't go down. The antibiotic did the trick along with pain meds. So, keep a watch on it. If it doesn't go down, see your Dr. No, it's not cancer, because cancer doesn't come and go. I know that for sure.

My Kadabra has no attacks!?

So, I caught an abra at level 10. And being far too lazy to level it, I stuck the thing in the day care until 16. So, supposedly at 16 it should evolve, and learn confusion. It hadnt done either. So I figured one more level and that'd happen. But now it's evolved, and still only has teleport. Its currently level 17, and now I need to know why it hasnt learned confusion? And if it wont learn confusion, can I stick it in the day care until 21 to teach it psybeam?

I woke up about 4 days ago with a stiff neck and soar back (mild) and just assumed I slept on it wrong, but over the past days it's gotten worse to the point that I feel like I have pulled on a tube (very roughly I might add) for hours on end. Everything is soar including legs and arms, back, neck, and headache for atleast 3 days, with intermittent vertigo and the lack of ability to always walk a straight line.

about a year ago my sister said she witnessed a spasm like episode(she also peed) my dog had. we thought she might have kicked the dog because she peed on the floor and caused a episode. then a week later i was playing a video game when i heard her trip over a shoe(shes blind and deaf and also 15 years old) and she started yelping. i woke my mom up and she picked the dog up and her head just went limp. after a few minutes she woke and peed. we thought to put her to sleep but she was alright the next day. but this morning i woke up to my mom yelling "she tried to get up but she couldn't!" then my dad saying "ill get dressed and well take her" i came down stairs and my mom explained that she peed on the floor so she took her out side to go to finnish and she was walking in circles then fell over on her side and had another episode but instead of yelping she was barking in pain loudly that was when she noticed there was blood in her stool. she carried her in and tried to calm her and give her water when she came to. she fell over again, went stiff, and salivated, and seemed dead but after a minute she woke up. they took her and put her to sleep. when they came back the doctor said that her heart was stopping and restarting but can someone explain to me the rest of what she was doing? or is it all related?

Knee pain getting worse!?

Went running yesterday (was an easy run, no issues, made sure to stretch good after warmup and cooldown) 5 minutes after my stretching my knees started getting really tight. I took Motrin and tried heat and ice but I couldn't get te tightness to go away. This morning when I woke up they both are still tight and I can't bend them (can't go completely straight and if I push my leg in I can get it to 90 degrees before it doesn't go anymore. Walking is a big issue right now (get EXTREMELY sharp pains in my knees when I walk and forget about stairs). I also am getting tingling and pins and needles behind my knee. It gets worse as the day goes on. Throughout the day I try to keep bending my knees to try as loosen them up (and avoid stiff knee) but t isn't helping! Any ideas on what it is and what it could be? It is in both my knees. What should I do from the pain other then Motrin and ice/heat???? Help!!

6 months pregnant and haven't felt baby move in 2 days?

What's causing my chronic knee pain?

I'm a young woman in my 20's. I played basketball throughout my teens. I've been pretty sedentary for the past few years...no running, just walking. I had a baby last November. Two weeks ago, I went running/walking, and it seemed to bother my legs a bit. I hadn't done anything since. My knees began to hurt a few days later. Last week I took a Zumba class for the first time, and it aggravated the pain from all the jumping and twisting, so I did a "impact free" version of the dancing. The next day I did 35 minutes on a stationary bike at the gym to begin strengthening my knees. I took a day off, and the next day my knees hurt so bad to even walk. I'm in constant, stiff pain, especially walking and going uphill or up/down stairs. The pain seems to be getting worse every day, but I have no idea why!? It seems to hurt on the inside of the front of my knee, on the inside of the knee cap. I thought I just over did it when I ran, but I've been taking it easy since and they keep getting worse. Considering going to the doctor, but don't want to be charged $1000000000000 for 2 knee braces and to be told to lose some weight (duh, that's what I'm trying to do, but the pain is making it nearly impossible!) Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

What couldve caused me to do this?

One morning i remember waking from a dream (dont remember what the dream was about) and i opened my eyes,my body was lied down stiff on my back and then out of nowhere i slowly sat up straight looked to my left at a closed door(i was also the only one awake) and i just said"Yes" in a tone like if i finally understood something that someone told me. I ran into one in a grass patch near the bridge- nugget bridge or something- and tried to catch it. Unfortunately I tried to weaken him first, the attack missed, and he teleported. I gauged my ear, and now it's so swollen, I cant get the gauge out and my entire left side of my head hurts. ?

I went from a half inch to a 9/16. I'm using those rubber gauges where you can completely see through. I'm used to minor pain, I've been stretching my ears for two and a half years now, and never really had any issues. I used a brand new, never used gauge, and stretched it six days ago. I've been experiencing discomfort, such as tenderness and sensitivity towards touch, nothing I can't really handle, and I can tug on it a bit before the pain really gets to me. However, tonight I finally took a full on look at it, after I realized that the section of ear below my gauge was still extremely stiff and swollen. I managed to squeeze the gauge together a bit, and the pain was terrible in doing so, and blood and white puss gushed out. I was surprised by this, so I checked the back. Which, had a ring of dead skin on the inner side of the gauge, dried blood and, since I'd messed with it, fresh blood too. I really don't want to take the gauge out, it hurts too badly and my gauge will not budge. It was difficult just squeezing it together a bit to see my actual ear. I put rubbing alcohol on both sides in hope to maybe flush out any bad bacteria, but I fear that it'll never heal. I almost cannot physically remove the gauge, and I wasn't sure if this could cause any horrible damage to my ear. Currently, my entire ear, the part of my neck around my ear, and my throat on that side hurt, which they hadn't until tonight when I fiddled with it to see what was wrong. I want to know what options I have, taking out is on the very, VERY bottom of that list. And I was wondering what explanations there were to why it would be so badly swollen. Like I've said, I have been doing this for years, and I've never had any issues. I just don't want my ear to rip.

Our nightly routine B 4 bedtime is we sing a few songs and i read him a book. he never had any problem going to sleep & staying all night bed, until abt a month ago. Now whn I finish reading him his book he does whatever he can 2 prevent him leaving him alone in bed. He'll run 2 get another book or try & play games. trying 2 get him in bed is a struggle. I know he is not afraid of the dark bcz he'll walk into any other dark room, no problem. I ONLY have this stuggle only putting him dwn 4 his nap or when its time 4 bed. And what scares me even more is tht, he found a crusafix the other day & come nightime, he clings to it and says Jesus & kisses it and has to have it w/him 2 go 2 sleep. Its still a nightly struggle but the cusafix did seem 2 ease his fear a little. We try & talk 2 him 2 get him do describe or open up abt it whn we're driving in the car for example, but all he does is get shy almost scared 2 say anything & just repeats exacty wht we say. He only confirms tht he sees a man in the same spot & tht its scary. Plz help. I've heard children have sixth sense & I now believe it, but I'm hoping its not anything tht will bring him any kind of harm. any suggestions r greatly appreciated.

I can feel my lymph nodes....?

About a year and a half ago I was at a horse show and my horse took a jump very weird and it made my body do something weird in the air. My neck started feel super stiff all the time after that and I was always rubbing it. I felt two little lumps in my neck which I knew was lymph nodes(they could have been there before this I would not have noticed). I went to the doctor who said she could not even feel them but I could feel them easily so could not understand why she could not. Just to make me feel better she sent me for a CAT scan which came back that my lymph nodes were a little enlarged but still within normal size. About 6 months later I had blood work done for a different surgery and the doctore orded every type of blood work you can have done, everything came back normal. The lymph nodes are less then 1cm and are very soft and I can only feel them if I press into my neck a little. They do puff up a little if I play with them but always go back down. They have been there for at the least over a year and a half and they have not changed at all. From what the doctors have said and what I have researched I should not be worried but it is still in the back of my mind sometimes. Should I be worried? Does anyone else have lymph nodes they can feel?

So i have a lvl 1 Abra w/ Pokerus, im new to EV training and want some help. i want 252 EV to SP. ATK 252 EV to Speed and 4 to HP. Starting at level 1, i want to know what i should do, i was thinking to give it 10 calciums and 10 carbos then leveling it up to 10 with an exp share, once it was at level 10 id kill solosis and the birds, once i have all my EVs could i just take it to the elite 4 with an exp share, in the end i want a pimped out lvl 50 Alakazam, thanks for your help

Well what is the best plan is to keep your entire team close to the same levels. Not all you pokemon. Just the 6 that will be on your team. It is a good idea as it makes the game a bit easier to get through but in that same vien requires tons of level grinding.

Personally, the no guard ability is too good to pass up on. You can give it dynamic punch which would be 50 accuracy but instead always hits. Also on diamond and pearl, less than 100 accuracy moves bypass protect and detect. ALSO, you can hit pokemon while they're up in the air or underwater/ground which is cool. So I would trade no 1 personally :P

My wrist is stiff after removing cast?

So I fell while playing basketball and landed the on ground with my left wrist perpendicular to the ground. I went to the emergency room to get an xray and the doctor said it was a fracture. So 2 weeks later when they took the cast off my wrist was stiff and it still kind of hurt a little bit when I twist it. Why does it still hurt when I twist it? It's not a very painful thing it just stings a little. Also I still cannot bend my left wrist so that it can be perpendicular to my arm. I can do it with my right wrist but not the the wrist I hurt (left wrist). Is this normal, do I just wait for a few days, or is it a problem? How long should cuticles be? Will jojoba oil help?

I'm getting married soon, and in the OCD quest to look *perfect* on that day, I've been looking into improving what I can. I don't even know what "nice" cuticles look like. I get a hangnail here and there, so I'm guessing mine aren't in top shape. They're about 1-1.5 mm long at the base of the nail without being pushed back, and they aren't hanging off or anything at the base of the nail. I don't moisturize my hands unless the skin starts to feel stiff, which is rare. I was thinking since I have a huge bottle of jojoba oil, can I just rub that into my cuticles for 10 minutes twice a week to improve my hands and cuticles and prevent any damage? I'm about a month and a half out from the wedding, never paint my nails or wear fake nails. In fact, I'm pretty happy with my nails: they grow well, barely ever break since I stopped painting them years ago. They chip sometimes, but I can't complain since the most I do for them is trim and take a multivitamin. Oh yeah, and I think I've had 2 manicures my whole life because I can't stand to have my cuticles trimmed. It makes my hands look 1000 times worse with all the peeling!

I have a lot of anxiety problems and it's driving me insane?

I have panic attacks and a lot of anxiety in general. So much to the point where I feel like my legs are so stiff I can't walk and my neck and shoulders are horribly tense. I have been off the klonopin I took for anxiety for 3 years because I had no insurance and couldn't afford the doctor or medication anymore. Lately I've had obsessive thoughts about hurting myself or my pets and I do not know how to stop it. I don't know why I think these things and I feel very guilty about it. Ankle pain? Fell over awkward?

So I don't think I have done anything more than sprain it? Possibly bruise.. Anyway I saw running and somhow fell on it it really hurt but I was able to get up and walk on, about 10 mins after I collapsed on it and again I was fine with walking. What is wrong with me? Why am I in so much pain?

I am a 21 year old female and i find myself in excruciating neck & upper back pain almost every day. i wake up on the verge of tears not being able to properly move...and eventually the pain dulls. I used to tell myself that it was from sleeping on on my neck or on a stiff mattress ..however, after a about a year i don't think i can force myself to believe that anymore. i also notice that my neck is starting to sort of "hunch" over quite dramatically..like you would see in a little old woman. i do not have insurance, so going to a specialist is out of the question. i will have to wait till fall semester starts so that i can go to my student health center. If this keeps up, i fear that i will not be able to live a normal life. Can anyone give me any advice as to what i can do to help with the pain (besides taking over the counter pain medication which i already rely on hourly)

Help! My cats left paw to elbow is completely swollen!?

My cat for about 4 days his whole left "arm" ( I know cats don't have arms) is completely swollen! He's limping and not eating well.. My knees STILL aren't better!?

Thursday afternoon (around 2pm-ish) I went running. After running both knees felt stiff (was an easy run, stretched good, no issues). Friday morning I couldn't walk without getting sharp pains (in my entire knee an also below the knee by the top of the shin) and I still couldn't bend my knees. It is now Saturday night and I still can't bend both knees straight or bend them to my butt (if I do I get really bad pain and someone has to physically push my leg, I can't get past 45 degrees without help). I also keep getting almost a tingling sensation behind my knee at times. My knees also look slightly bruised in the same places. Most of my knee pain is along the inside of my knee caps and below the knee cap. What could I have done to BOTH my knees at the SAME time?? Also, I haven't been doing sports or walking much but I have sports monday, IF for some reason my knees feel better should I play?

Why did hermit crabs die?

Two hermit crabs were purchased together from a pet store, one was large and the other was small. Both were provided with adequate food, water, habitat, extra shells, and temperature. One morning the larger one fell out of its shell dead when picked up to be misted, this was about two weeks after their purchase. I just bought Pokemon Heart Gold about a week ago and am trying to build a good team. So far those that I know I want to keep on my team are my Jolteon, Arcanine, feraligatr, and maybe my togetic (which I will evolve to togekiss).
